
PWP (SafeKey®) Terms and Conditions:
- These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Pay with Points feature on eligible online purchases using SafeKey® authentication. By using your Membership Rewards® points through this feature, you agree to be bound by the following Terms:
- Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Saudi Arabia enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program are eligible.
- The Card account must be in good standing and not suspended, past due, or canceled.
- Only Primary Cardmembers may redeem points. Supplementary Cardmembers may not initiate redemptions.
- The Pay with Points feature allows eligible Cardmembers to redeem Membership Rewards® points for purchases made online using SafeKey authentication.
- This feature is available only on eligible e-commerce websites that support American Express SafeKey® and where the feature is enabled. Digital wallet transactions will not be eligible for Pay with Point.
- A minimum redemption threshold of [15,000] points may apply per transaction.
- During checkout on a SafeKey®-enabled merchant platform, the full transaction amount will first be charged to your Card. You will then be redirected to the Pay with Points page, where you will be presented with the available point redemption options.
- You may choose to pay for all or part of the transaction using your available Membership Rewards® points balance.
- Points have no monetary value until redeemed and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
- If the points redeemed do not cover the full amount of the transaction, the remaining balance will be charged to your Card.
- Your request to redeem points will be received and processed by American Express Saudi Arabia. The redemption will be approved or declined based on your available Membership Rewards® points balance at the time the merchant submits the transaction (i.e., when it is no longer pending). If approved, the equivalent statement credit will be posted to your Card account within 72 hours (may take up to 7 days). Points will be deducted only once the transaction is finalized.
- Once purchase is confirmed, points are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- If a transaction redeemed with points is refunded through the merchant, the Membership Rewards points will NOT be refunded automatically. You can request a refund of your points by contacting American Express Saudi Arabia customer service on 8001242229 or +966112926666. And you will be notified once your request is approved or rejected.
- You remain responsible for any portion of the transaction not covered by points.
- American Express is not responsible for the quality, delivery, performance, merchant errors, or any other aspect of the goods or services purchased using Pay with Points.
- Any disputes or issues regarding products or services must be resolved directly with the merchant.
- This feature is available for online transactions only where SafeKey authentication is supported.
- The feature is not available for:
- Recurring payments or subscriptions
- Offline/in-store purchases
- American Express may suspend or revoke your access to Pay with Points at any time in case of misuse, suspected fraud, or violation of program rules.
- All redemptions are subject to the Membership Rewards® Program Terms and Conditions, which govern the accrual and usage of points.
- American Express reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this feature or any of its Terms at its discretion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- In case of dispute, the records of American Express and its decisions shall be final.

- The annual percentage rate for starts from 40.64%, depending on the type of Credit Card and the applicable standards
- Non-compliance with the Terms & Conditions of American Express Saudi Arabia's credit and charge Cards may result in cancellation /suspension of your Card/Additional Cards and a negative impact on your credit bureau record. Minimum payments on your credit card may result in additional charges and fees due to the application of the Murabaha margin to the outstanding balance.
- Paying only the minimum amount owed to us can result in additional fees and charges as well as prolonging the time to repay the full amount owed to us. For example, if you have an outstanding balance of SAR 7,000 and you choose to pay only the minimum due, it will take 81 months to settle the balance in full. The total amount due is SAR 13,296, which includes both the outstanding balance and the Murabaha Margin.
